Who We Are

The Cavan Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Limited (CAVAN SPCA) is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the lives of animals in Cavan, Co. Cavan, and the surrounding areas. We are passionate about preventing animal cruelty and promoting animal welfare within our community.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and supporters works tirelessly to:

• Investigate and prevent animal cruelty: We respond to reports of animal abuse and neglect, working with local authorities to ensure justice for abused animals.

• Provide care for animals in need: We rescue and rehabilitate animals suffering from neglect, abuse, or abandonment, providing essential veterinary care, food, and shelter.

• Educate the community: We conduct school talks and community outreach programs to raise awareness about animal welfare issues, promote responsible pet ownership, and prevent cruelty.

• Promote spaying/neutering: We advocate for and support spaying/neutering programs to help reduce pet overpopulation and prevent unwanted litters.

We believe that all animals deserve to live free from suffering and enjoy a happy and fulfilling life. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create a compassionate community where animal cruelty is unacceptable and every animal is treated with kindness and respect.
